Pulled the Trigger
17/4/10 09:24Ordered my laptop last night. It appears that you cannot get the one I wanted with 8 gig of RAM (which would be useful for running Windows with VM Fusion on top of the Mac OS--which I have to do for some of the freelance work I do) so I'm going to see how it goes with 4 gig and, if necessary, buy another 4 gig of RAM. I am so excited about not camping out on the Spouse's big desktop computer, I can barely say.
In other news Avocado and friend made candy sushi last night: Rice Krispie Treat base, wrapped in Fruit by the Foot and garnished with Nerds, Hot Tamales, and Swedish Fish. Very cute--although my kitchen is littered with candy remnants and slivers of Rice Krispie Treat. Avocado's friend has gone off to karate after their sleepover, and A has returned to sleep the sleep of a 14 year old. I am ignoring the siren call of too much sugar from the kitchen.
