The Vatican has released a list of the Vatican's favorite rock songs. Seriously. Top of the chart is, of course, Revolver (I never thought Pope Benedict and I had anything much in common, but I have to say I'm very fond of Revolver myself). According to L'Osservatore Romano the top ten list is:
The Beatles: Revolver
David Crosby: If I Could Only Remember My Name
Pink Floyd: Dark Side Of The Moon
Fleetwood Mac: Rumours
Donald Fagen: The Nightfly
Michael Jackson: Thriller
Paul Simon: Graceland
U2: Achtung Baby
Oasis: (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Carlos Santana: Supernatural

It's not a bad list.
I'll just sit here and boggle for a bit, if you don't mind.

ETA: Abbey Road is up for sale! Crosswalk not included. I suppose it is the way of the world that the world one knew gets remade often and often, but...gee.

1400 words done this morning, and Chapter 11 (first chapter of Part 2) is done, at least in craptastic draft.

Now, off to the Nebula Nominations tallies to make all right and tidy.

That many smart people don't read the directions. Especially the parts that say "don't put the title in quotes, don't put the title in ALL CAPS, don't write the title in Sanskrit." Ah, well. We've dealt with that.

A few smart people ignore the part that says "You may not nominate your own work." Fixed that too.

The results will be announced in a day or two. Until then, well, I'm not tawkin.

And that Mary Robinette Kowal is a gem of a human, and helped me do the final grooming of the list. Now for a glass of wine and some frivolous TV, because I've been a good girl all day.
