Just got a call from Avocado, from the school dean's office. Nothing brings the pulse to a fevered rate like that. But she's calm and cheery: someone has started a Facebook page attacking another student, and they can't access the page from the school because of the SFUSD's blocking software, so can she go off-campus with the Dean to pull up the page and try to find the perpetrator?
Uh. Okay.
She just got back, called to tell me she was back at school, and said they had pretty good evidence in the case. Wow. It's a whole new world out there in middle school.
