Wow, this is really cool. NPR has run a brief story about the BVC, including data on Rocket Boy and the Geek Girls, the reprint e-anthology which includes my story "Abelard's Kiss," and The Shadow Conspiracy, BVC's brand new e-anthology of original steampunk stories.

We started the Cafe only about a year ago. I don't know that it's going to make any of us rich, but it's really exciting to feel like I'm actually on the sharp edge of the future. If you haven't checked out the Cafe, you really should. Pretty much all of my back list of short stories are there, and vast quantities of goodies from people like Ursula LeGuin, Vonda McIntyre, Sarah Zettle, Sherwood Smith, Katherine Kerr, Amy Casil...the list goes on. Much of it's free, and even the stuff that costs is way less than the price of a new hardcopy book. Go play! Tell 'em I sent you.
