As of This Moment

I have about 78,000 useable words on The Book. Some of them will likely be torn out. There's about 20,000 words of connective tissue to be thrown in, and a rigorous polishing. But I begin to think this might turn into an actual manuscript at some point.

Now I go to walk the dog and do actual moneymaking work.

Tee hee. Avocado just went to bed with her hair done up in papers, looking for all the world like the shade of my grandmother. The papers, just to be up-to-date and ecologically correct, were cut from a used grocery bag. I cannot tell you how amusing I find this. Wonder what it will look like in the morning.
