I has it.

Ah, well. Maybe I'll get some work done while everyone else is having fun. In Montreal. Damn.

Marshalls has a radio commercial I've heard twice now: after voice overs from two teens complaining that if they don't get a particular pair of jeans or shoes, their lives are ruined, a woman's voice, in the dulcet tones of one of those "you can turn away...or you can help" fundraisers, says:

"This back-to-school season countless teenagers' lives will be fake-ruined by their inability to buy expensive clothes and accessories."

I'm thinking of recording this and putting it on a repeating loop on Avocado's computer, for when she comes home. I probably won't, because I'm just not mean enough. But it's tempting.
