On Valentine's Day (that would be next Saturday) Norilana Books will publish Lace and Blade 2, which contains, among other things, my story "Writ of Exception," set in Meviel (where "Virtue and the Archangel" was also set). For reasons I do not perfectly understand, Meviel seems to be the setting in which I'm playing with gender roles and other related stuff. In any case, I cannot wait for this book to come out because I am dying to read sartorias's story "Miss Austen's Castle Tour." (With a title like that, how could I resist?) And there are stories by Diana Paxon, Robin Wayne Bailey, Rosemary Hawley Jarman, Elisabeth Waters, Daniel Fox, Mary Rosenblum, Tanith Lee, Pauline Zed, Francesca Forrest, and Traci N. Castleberry, all edited by deborahjross. At the risk of sounding all self-promotion-y and stuff, you really should go order a copy, don't you think?
