Come Hell or High Water

I have purchased my Wiscon membership. This year it is not my 20th anniversary. This year no one is going to Prom. This year I am by God going. Unless I break a limb or something.

Divers

• I have one of those things where I've been blowing my nose all day. My upper lip looks like it's been torn up for repaving, and my head feels empty and made of cardboard (two weird sensations that go weird together). Fleh.

• I did not watch the Superbowl. I did, however, watch the commercials. This is my favorite. There were others that also made me laugh, but this one made me laugh while reminding me of the product, which is what a good ad is supposed to do.

• And this was my runner-up, in the Sentimental Faves department, because I like it when people encourage pet adoption. Also: emus and warthogs!
