Nothing buoys a jobhunter's heart like an email, first thing in the morning, that says in part "we've found your resume and are very impressed!"

The buoyance subsided somewhat when I realized this was not someone I'd sent a resume to. Which meant it was either someone who'd found me on LinkedIn, or one of the jobs I've applied for was being profligate with my data. Further reading of the email suggested 1) that it was LinkedIn and 2) that they're looking for cold-call insurance agents.

Catfood and a cardboard box first. I know my limitations.
