They had a flood at Avocado's camp last weekend. According to the camp directors, "...your children stayed calm, sang songs and played games on the dining room porch as the waters rose and receded." According to Avocado, the ceramics hut is now in the middle of the tennis court, two of the three docks sank into the lake, and a third wound up marooned in the middle of the tiny island in the middle of the lake. Oh, and a counselor's car was washed into the lake and all the bridges across the brook are down. Still, they all sound pretty cheery. A new adventure! The kids are apparently helping clean up, in between the usual camp opportunities.
