PG&E has a new add campaign celebrating the fact that they're harnessing "cow power" as a way of keeping methane out of the atmosphere and generating clean energy. I think this is an excellent thing. The adds, however, suggest that they're harnessing the power of cow farts, and just trying to imagine how this was going to work (baggies over the cow's tail end?). In fact, what they're doing is harvesting manure and extracting methane from it. Which is also good; just not as intriguingly comical.
