Why is it that I can't remember to make the three phone calls I need to make, but I was able to call in to KFOG this morning to tell them the make of the car in My Mother the Car (a 1928 Porter), and was then able to sing the theme song for them? Can I back off some of the crap that's rattling around in my head to make room for new, shinier crap?

And in a related matter: they were talking about Favorite TV Moms (which is how the subject of a 1928 Porter arose). Who's your favorite TV Mom?
