Walk Willing into Chaos

We heard from the contractor yesterday. He wants to start demolition on the kitchen next week (actually he wanted to start it today, but I haven't packed anything and we have people coming for dinner on Sunday evening). So I went and put in the order for the appliances. Floor still has to be finalized. We'll be eating on paper plates, cooking via the grill or the microwave for several weeks. If that doesn't strain our emotional ecosystem to its limit, we will emerge stronger and finer than before. With a dishwasher and an oven that holds a steady temperature.
