One Step Forward

After interviewing three different appliance venues yesterday I walked away with...the dishwasher I want. Which is not to say that I ordered it, only that I actually saw the dishwasher in person, as it were. Very exciting. As for the rest, the stores all had approximately what I was looking for, but not the same models exactly. At one store the saleswoman (Cyndi) did not insist on trying to sell me the top-of-the-line-breaks-if-you-use-it , but listened to my concerns, gave sage suggestions, and had actual advice. We may be giving them some business (especially because they had the dishwasher I wanted out there on the floor so I could look at it and kick some tires, as it were).

Onward. Whee.
