Look what we missed on TV this fall: Babylon Fields. From the clips on the page, it looks sort of like Desperate Housewives, except with Zombies.

I'm kinda wishing they'd aired it. It would have done great things for the cause of Zombies everywhere. No shambling, no slo-mo chasing, no plaintive cries of "Bra-a-a-ains" wafting on the wind. These are just-plain-folks-Zombies. Certainly couldn't be any worse than Pushing Daisies.

Presented for your awed amazement, Miss Douglas County of some past year, during the talent segment of a Miss Nebraska pageant or something like that. I don't mean to disparage, and maybe she only found out about the talent segment a couple of days before, but really: a Star Wars trumpet solo?
