Evening, with Books

coffeeem and willshetterly are in town for a leg of their multi-multi-city booktour! Yesterday afternoon we all met up and had a glass of wine on klages's deck, discussing life and cats (Ellen's cats were particularly pleased to have so many worshippers on hand). Then went off to eat very good Thai food, before heading across the street to Borderlands for Emma and Will's reading/singing/signing (yes, Emma sang a couple of songs before the reading). Good crowd, excellent readings. And of course, after the reading and the signing, we repaired across the street again for a drink. It was nearly 11 by the time I got home (Sarcasm Girl sent me a text message at one point inquiring politely if I'd been sold to the gypsies), but I have Territory and The Gospel of the Knife, plus Elizabeth Bear's Whiskey and Water. If you don't hear from me for a few days, it's cause I'm reading.
