You know the face. Charles Lane died this week, after a career of more than 250 roles. When I talk to Sarcasm Girl about her career aspirations, Charles Lane is the example I give her: he was never a star, but he was a face you knew, a solid working actor who made a living for over sixty years doing what he loved. That's a good life.
