Me (cautiouser still, if it were possible, and if cautiouser was a word): Um, you're welcome. (Waiting for the pitch that will surely follow.)
Caller: Okay, thanks again! Bye! (hangs up)

They hung up and asked for nothing further. I am swooning with shock and delight, and contemplating sending them money I don't have, just because. No, wait, this was probably part of their master plan. But it works...
