Okay, so it's ten days into February. But for the last few days it has been sunny and warm here, and I, for one, have been thrilled. Sarcasm Girl loves fog, which I think fits with her romantic teenage soul. I am middle aged, and while I have no yearning to live in the California of palm trees and beaches, I do have low blood pressure which leads to sluggish circulation which leads to cold hands and feet and a generalized chill. Do I love this sunshine? You betcha.

SG is planning to go hang with a friend after school; YG has Boys and Girls Club after school (but before Girl Scouts). I'm going to go write a book or something. And take a walk in the sunshine. This is San Francisco. You never know how long it's going to last.

Has introduced me to the Johari Window, a thing of which I had never heard before.

I hate having to figure out words to describe myself, because they so rarely have the words I want. I don't want "tense," I want "anxious." I mean, I don't want either of them, but one is more accurate than the other. Punctilious is a great word (doesn't describe me, but I bet there are people I'd apply it to). Ah, well. We make do.
