Now We Are Ten

...and we're clever as clever.

Meanwhile, I have made cupcakes for the class; a cake for the family tonight; and at week's end I'll have to produce cupcakes for Scouts, plus a birthday cake for the kid's sleepover.

My mistake, you see, was letting them know that I could cook and sew. I shoulda fed 'em Hostess cupcakes and dry cereal until they were off to college.

YG is beside herself with bliss at the notion of becoming an official pre-teen. I'm not sure what sorts of excitement she's anticipating; I hope she enjoys the decade.
