Snore

Up until 1:30 this morning with SG, supervising the finishing of an end-of-semester essay and the gathering up of various assignments. Up at 6am to get the wheels on the bus goin' round and round. SG has Movie Club after school, and YG stays at Boys and Girls' Club until about five. I have this vast chunk of time (like 8am til 4:30 pm) ahead of me...and all I want to do is sleep. YG has Girl Scouts tonight from 7 to 9. I may sit in a corner and drowse...

Still, there's some comfort in seeing all that homework leaving the house and going (one hopes) to its appointed home.

Tiny Moment of Bliss

I love Kevin Smith's movies, of which I know that Jersey Girl is one of the lesser. And yet...the moment when they finish performing "God That's Good" from Sweeney Todd for the kid's parochial school talent show kills me every time.
