All Hallows' Eve
31/10/05 08:43This year, Sarcasm Girl is going as a black-and-white film character (she hasn't really decided which, tho' for the purposes of school today she left off the varying shades of gray makeup, and decided that she'd be Hildy Johnson from His Girl Friday. in a gray pinstriped skirt suit, white crepe blouse, black stockings and pumps. She looks breathtakingly efficient and intimidatingly lawyerly. She's going to band together with a classmate and go trick or treating together.
Younger Girl is going as Miss Congeniality, in her best party dress, sash with the title on it, and a toy gun in a gold lame holster, strapped to her arm.
I haven't figured out what I'm going to do tonight; Spouse is taking YG out on Candy Shakedown Patrol, and I'm staying home to hand out pelf to all callers. I have enough stuff around here to be able to cobble something togther (I have a garnet silk-velvet Regency ball gown I made years ago. Wonder if I could pour myself into it again?). What is everyone else doing tonight?
