Yesterday I got the parent newsletter from Sarcasm Girl's high school. Informative, a little gosh-golly-holy-gee for my taste, but befitting a high school parent newletter. It also contained at least a dozen typos, grammatical errors, punctuation faults, etc. Need I say this drives me wild? I am trying to think of a tactful way to offer to proof the next issue: if we're trying to teach young minds that spelling, punctuation and style are important. the least we can do is make sure that the publications from the school reflect that.
