Showed Sarcasm Girl A Clockwork Orange, which holds up as a piece of dystopic SF (even with a dated technological viewpoint--things like computers, cell phones, and iPods aren't thought of) and has some amazing performances in it. The kid's basic response was "what the fuck? What the fuck was that? I mean? What the..." Then she went out to walk the dog.
Did notice something that would have been lost on me in 1971 when I saw it first: the writer's bodybuilding bodyguard? David Prowse, who would later show up in black as Darth Vader. Go figure.
