So Much Much

So as Becca wends her way across Texas toward New Orleans (tonight's goal) I am 1) wrestling with two non-compliant novels and one non-compliant short story, 2) plotting what I need to take to Sasquan for cake baking for the Friday night BVC party, and what I will need to buy on the spot, 3) thinking about how much clothing I can pack in and around the cake pans, offset spatulas, decorating tips, and fondant cutters, 4) re-reading the stories I'm critiquing for the writers' workshop at Sasquan, 5) re-reading Dreamsnake for the umpth time for the panel I'm on (and because I really love that book), 6) hoping to hear about some job-related stuff.

My life is simultaneously fraught with excitement and dull as ditchwater.
