And The Slouch Goes On...

...doubtless to the tune of "The Beat Goes On."

One hundred sixty one pages, 34,400 words. This is not my favorite chapter; many things had to happen. They all did. It does what it has to do, carrying the water of miles and time. Sometimes that's a chapter's destiny.
