Motivate me, quick!
2/12/14 09:34I have things to do. Homework, in fact (I'm doing the online Google Analytics course, which is both fascinating and weirdly poorly implemented. This is what happens when people who understand the material put together the course: they don't know what the rest of us don't know), plus trying to get some writing done, plus finish the priming in Becca's room (I think one more session should do it), plus starting the ramp up for our annual open house party, which means lots of baking, making a turkey, a ham, and two pots of chili (one meat, one veg), and coordinating masses of people and stuff. It would be a good thing if I did some exercise today, too. So it's not like I should be lazing about all day.
On the other hand, I have a headache which has been visiting me off and on for several days now. I am not usually prey to headaches, so I have a hard time not thinking how unfair it all is. And it's gray (there was rain earlier! O! the excitement in a dought-stricken state when there is rain!) and chilly.
The net result is that I am spectacularly unmotivated. There are time-constraints on getting all this stuff done, which is probably a good thing, but I am fighting against a tide of "don't-wanna-you-can't-make-me" which is quite spectacular.
Onward. I shall show my moral superiority and trounce my inner slug. Really.
