I Forgot to Mention
that as I crossed the parking lot to my car on Saturday at 1:15am, a car went by, and the kid driving it yelled out the window: "Umbridge! We hate you, Umbridge! We hate you!"
Clearly my work here is done.
SG has finished the book and is now in complete misery because there will be no more. I remember that feeling when I finished the last Prydain book, and the last Narnia book--not so much because of the endings themselves, but that, like Alexander, I'd run out of that particular stretch of world to conquer. I am half way through. Have said Aha! several times and "Oh, fuck" at least three.
