Spouse is "fighting something off." Said something is unspecified. YG, who has been home sick for the last two days, was taken to the pediatrician and an ear infection diagnosed (I would have sworn it was strep; her tonsils were like two young billiard balls, lightly marbled with goo). And I have a "soft tissue infection" around my right eye: what looks like either a below-the-surface zit or an ingrown eyebrow hair, with swelling all around the eye. Ick. So both the kid and I are on Zithromax. Emily continues on acepromazine (her doggie downers). SG has had a rough week generally. And yet the sun is shining. What are we to make of this? That all will be well eventually.
